1,000 Cement Blocks to Help Rebuild Kaka'i Family Home
Several villages near Kirkuk, Iraq were home to the Kaka'i people - a minority group inside Iraq with religious beliefs that made them a big target for ISIS. Thousands lost their homes during the war, but today we're helping 200 of these families move back to their farming villages and start life over.
After two years away, many are returning to find their homes severely damaged, with outside walls, fences and foundations ruined or entirely knocked down by bomb blasts or military vehicles. Most of the homes in these four villages are small 2 or 3 room homes. Your gift will be used to help purchase and deliver 1,000 cement blocks the family can use for re-construction.
Your donation is tax-deductible.
